Studying Motivation

These days lately I have watched lots lots of Korean drama >.<

But what's the connection between studying motivation with watching Korean drama? The link is one Korean drama I have just watched (only to episode 5 though), which is "Love Story in Harvard". What about that movie? It is a romance drama just like a lot of others, but the difference is that the setting is a university with a very high rank, Harvard. There in the movie I saw the main male protagonist had to study really hard in order to get a good grade for a class which is professored by a very smart and harsh Professor. I really like it when I see there are people who study really hard (though this is a movie, I am quite sure the atmosphere there at Harvard won't be much too far) and it makes me want to do it too ^^

Anyway, wish me luck that I can catch up with my studies at university.

PS: I just realized some days ago that Sun-Hee's top picture in her blog is a picture with my letter on her desk >.< I am so glad that my letter was delivered there safely! Now i just have to wait for her reply :)

Mistake

OMG at first I didn't really put any thought to this, but today when I sent my letter, I wrote the FROM on the bottom right and the TO on the top left... Though the officer give a sign that it must be sent to the top left, now I am scared the post office will send my letter wrongly -_- If so then I will waste time and money T_T Aaaaaa!

Computer Addiction and Sleepiness

Well, I guess everybody knows getting too addicted is not a good thing. After not knowing that I have been addicted in using Personal Computer, today I realized that a lot of bad things happened because of this addiction. (When I said using there, I mean such as playing games, surfing the internet, reading mangas, or anything for fun - as they are what I do 99% of the times in front of the PC).

The first thing I noticed, time. Being in front of the PC for hours seemed like a normal thing for me before; but after hearing some comments from my relatives, I started thinking and looking at how long does normal people use PC. I guess they use it only for an hour or two - while I use it almost from waking up until the time I get to sleep if I am at home.

Second, my activities. In front of the PC, it is whether playing games, browsing, and things I mentioned above. And well, doing educational stuff, hardly ever though. Similar with the first one, activities I could do now I can't because I have been too absorbed by doing fun things in the PC. Say it like taking a walk around the neighborhood or maybe reading books (whether school stuffs or not).

Third, my energy. I think this is the big factor why I think being addicted to computer (for playing) is a bad thing. Haven't realized that my focus and attention are all caught up to the monitor, I played until late night while there are classes the day after that. And in the class, I can't help but being sleepy and don't pay attention to what the lecturer says. This is the root problem for me since last semester. Being sleepy or sleep in class.

Though my grade on the second is still good, it's lower than the previous one. I had to catch up the lessons out of classes, and I ended up pulling an all nighter and the same bad cycle repeats. And when I have some free times I... procrastinate, oh great.

And now I guess I have to limit the usage of PC, so that I can be focused on my studies and other activities. Besides that, I am trying to do lots of other things so that I won't be sleepy in class anymore. Such as getting back to a healthy sleep times, from 23:00 to 06:00 everyday. Then drink tea in the morning to keep me more refreshed. And when I'm sleepy in class, I have to get some fresh airs, wash my face, get some chocolate, drink tea, or maybe coffee.

Well, I hope starting from now I won't sleep in class anymore :)

Life

Feeling hungry? Haha. The noodle was used for some design tasks of my friend, Tsuzu, whose major is design and visual communications. Hearing her tasks make me want to do that too ^_^ But she said the tasks were like hell. Oops, looks like being an art student is very hard too! I must not slack off studying my electrical stuffs too now.

Okay and now after the appetizer, I think I'll say some of my thoughts here; having a perfect or high scores must be what everybody wanted, and I do want it too. For this semester, I want to get a high GPA as well as active in organization. About last week, I wanted to apply to become one of the crews of a IT magazine in my university, quite famous I have to say. And I wanted to become the illustrator there in the team. And in order to apply for it, I have to make an essay about IT. Okay, then the deadline was 2 September 2009. I thought I can submit in on 23:59, but then about 20 on 2nd September, when I read the form again, the deadline was on 17:00... GAH, I MISSED THE DEADLINE!! And that’s what I get for being a procrastinator. One of my aims failed. These procrastinating things really get into me lately as well as being a sleepyhead in the lectures. I was like what? Sleeping almost in all classes, learning nothing... and at home stuck in front of the laptop surfing on the net, oh my, what a great things to do... Definitely won’t meet my aim if I keep being like this all the time. I know ranting will not help me, but I think one of my biggest problems is how I do not express my thoughts and how I don’t think out of the box. I have to be say my thought out and loud, and think creative. Well I hope by writing in blog, I can express myself more on daily basis, such as in a forum or brainstorming where up until now I tend to keep silent (not thinking about anything actually).

Have been learning to swim and play guitar lately. I am quite happy that I can do both of them now, but sad too because the level is too low and somehow I feel I do not improve. Maybe I have to practice more; have to get more confidence in myself! FIGHT! YAY!

Busy Oh Busy

Since mid July up until now, I have been really busy with the orientation on my university in order to join the electrical engineering council. A lot have been passed. Though almost all my time is used on the events, I have to say that this Masa Bina Cinta (MBC) helps a lot. Starting from knowing all other people, some things with the university life in the second year, and also a lot lot friend. The first phase was over on 17th August, and the second phase began right after the first one is over. Tired yes, but somehow I feel I have regained a lot of useful things through this MBC. Beside those that I have said above, I also get to temper my inner self, being a better person, learning soft skills and also life skills. Tiring, but fun. ^_^

I really have to write more often, expressing myself and also improving my writing skills :)

Heo Young Saeng is flowery

Okay, today I have made my first wallpaper with real person as the subject. He is Heo Young Saeng, a Korean singer who is singing with his group, SS501. This wallpaper was requested by my new friend Kori in Poland ^_^
I am actually pretty happy with the result, especially the background of the wallpaper around Heo ^_^

I do not really know the person, so I just took a simple idea, flowers :) I was inspired by Peni's wallpaper by the way, her concepts are really really wow, five thumbs up ;)

Rubik's Cube

I have been looking people played rubik's cube all over, but I was not interested at all at it. And right at the start of my holiday, my friend came to my room and brought a rubik's cube, where then I first tried to solve it. At first I did not know any method (now I only know one method, though haha) so I just tried to get one layer done. Upon finishing one layer, I did not know what to do so then I stopped playing it.

The next morning, 13th June, I tried to look at the internet on how to solve the rubik's cube. I was kind of surprised that the solution is there, and it is pretty easy. And then I tried to solve it while looking at the solution, quite easy and succeed on the first try, yay!

Too bad my friend then went home and brought his rubik's cube back :( So I then I decided to buy one, which was done the day after that, at sunday in Kelapa Gading Mall at Petra Toys for 27.000 IDR which I think is not expensive because the quality of the rubik's cube is pretty good, I can flip all the color very easily.

Have been playing it over and over, I am quite used to do the layer per layer method which takes about 2 - 3 minutes for me. Want to search for a new method which can help me solve the rubik's cube faster but I keep thinking that I should try my own method in order to solve it. Ah, I hope I can find my own method, which means I have to keep playing this rubik's cube more and more again, which I like for now; hope I will not get bored soon.

50 First Dates

Yup, another Adam Sandler's movie. I have watched this several times, but no matter how many times I have watched this, I still love this movie so much. The interesting story concept and the good acting, it is simply great.

Well, I was so bored today and got nothing to do. A bit tired of playing games again and again. So then I decided to browse my folder and got reminded of how amazing this movie is, so then clicked on my KMPlayer and then watch the movie :)

And now, I would like to point out some of his movies which I like so much. Well yeah there are some of Adam's movies that I haven't watched so I will just skip them. Some I have watched and I love:

Lazy as Hell this Holidays

The title totally describes all. Wake up in the morning (well, usually afternoon because almost everyday I slept late) and then turn on my notebook and... there goes my everyday's activity, STARING AT THE LCD! Oh really, since the morning until late night again, I am practically always in front of the monitor. Whether it is playing games, browsing, reading some thread in forums, etc. Really have to get my body moving from this chair, really.

It has been a month since the new year came, and I still have not made my resolution for 2009. Really, I cannot bring myself to make up even one. Do not know why. (Maybe I should just stop writing this and make my resolutions now, :D) Anyway, I am sure I at least have to learn something useful this holidays, or make something I used to. Anime wallpapers, maybe?

Okay, okay. Better get my ass off and do something :)

The Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants

Okay, a 2005 movie. I have just watched it today... And you know what? I totally recommend this movie. The story of 4 girls (bestfriends) who spent their summer apart from each other. The Jeans, the traveling pants, is passed each week to another girl one by one so they will wear it and watch magical things happen to them. Guess what happens to them? Well, I think I should not bring spoiler to you guys. Haha. So... what are you waiting for, go watch it! The movie is so amusing and at some parts really makes you moved and you unconsciously will shed tears. It is so good it makes you into it and actually... well you know~

Oh, and I too have just known there is the sisterhood of the traveling pants 2! I am surely will watch it tomorrow!

Hello again guys!

Yesterday, my first day at Jakarta again, I finished a wallpaper with my friend, Peniko. The tile is Mustang as she got the idea from the song which was composed by Asian Kung-fu Generation. The original art was made by Yusuke Nakamura whom we both adore so much because the lovely art. We talked about this long time ago as we decided to give this present to our friend, Kiru. But yeah, as school did mean things to me by not letting me to have a lot of playing time (hehe, just kidding) so both of us could rarely meet on MSN and in the end postpone this wallpaper over and over.

It is very refreshing just to know that I have just finished a wallpaper and some other people actually like the wallpaper. Well, to get my wallpaper commented, I posted it here. Oh, and for you who want to know the real art by Yusuke Nakamura, you can see it here

Long Time No See

Hello my blog, it has been so long, hasn't? Oh do you know how much I miss you and how much I wanted to see you again and bla.. bla... (OMG I am getting crazy)

Okay, enough time talking to the blog and now let's continue :)

And so half of my final tests for the first semester is over and now I am having a small holiday until early January. Though then I will be having the other half of the tests, I am grateful that I have some spare time to enjoy life (like I am able to write this post ^_^) and do some other things than just staring at some theory books.

Thanks to this holiday, I am going back to Jakarta again. Finally it is time to meet my family and my best friends again. And a better internet connection, LOL *_* And now for the holiday plans, I do not think I have some useful plan beside going out with friends and do some downloading. Maybe you have some plans? Care to share?

But... This holiday is not all about fun because I still have some tests which I mentioned above. However, this January I have a lot of things to do for sure. And... As this January comes, it makes me remember that just only a year ago my dear friend Valent got in an acciddent. I am surely will come to him at 28th January.

Speaking about life, I guess mine is getting more and more boring, as it tend to get repetitive. People do need some changes, aren't they? Something that makes you go "THUMP" and once forget about daily routines. My previouos hobby... was making a wallpaper which I rarely do nowadays. Maybe I have to have a new one, drawing maybe? I hope I can learn fast and make a good drawings :D (though I know there are no shortcuts)

Blog, Me, Il Mare, and a Brand New Header

Guess what? This blog thing is really something. I actually really like to write, and this blog can be the place where I write about me, myself and my story, though it is not much, as for now. But I will try to keep this blog updated and fill this up with interesting things. Getting more familiar with changing header and how to customize the layout, I am changing the header of the site. How does it look? I kept in my mind soft and not too saturated color, and I just came into the color which it is now, and decided to go for it. And the image of the girl is from Kuroboshi Kouhaku. Thanks.

Now, I have a day off tomorrow and decided to spend some of my time watching a movie and writing an update for my blog. First day of the exams, the exams were math and English. I am quite satisfied with the math exam. And I think I exhausted myself and I think I did very badly on English test. However, as for this morning exams, I had Chemistry. I am very dissatisfied with the chemistry exam. I had the solutions in my head; however my clumsiness reached its peak this morning. A lot of miscalculation, I was hasty enough to misread the question. Ah, fool me.

And now, I am going to say another thing about another Korean movie I have just watched recently, Il Mare.

Quite good of a story. The thing I like the most is the scenery on the Il Mare, the ocean is really beautiful. *_*
This fiction story is pretty interesting. A story about two people, whose time are two years apart, are connected with a mailbox near the Il Mare, a cabin on a beachside. Sending mails and exchanging mails, their bonds are getting stronger on each day that passes. I was really surprised when the story shows that Sung-hyun got in an accident and died instantly while trying to help Eun-Joo problem with her boyfriend. But this magical story really shows how great a time machine is. Eun-Joo who noticed about Sung-hyun's death wrote a letter to the past and Sung-hyun was really saved from the accident. wow. While in the end, both of them really got to meet each other, and, again, the future has been re-written for the sake of the couple. Strong bond creates miracles, doesn't it?

I guess I am starting to become one of Jun Ji-hyun's fan. I really like her in My Sassy Girl and Windstruck. Though I do not really like her role in Il Mare, I am starting to like her even more, as well as Korean movies. I need some recommendation for some great Korean romance movies, have any?

Is this blog going to change direction to movies reviews? Who knows? Guess I am changing this blog main idea to everything about me, some stories around me, and not only about arts. =p

Decided to take a break and watched this movie, I really feel lucky that I did take a break and watched this touching movie. Placed second after my favorite Korean movie, My Sassy Girl, Windstruck really got me into it, I did shed tears. It was when Myungwoo came into her dream when she was about to die, that moment really made me cry.

Oh god, I hate Changsoo, because of him Kyungjin and Myungwoo got separated. And he did actually shoot Kyungjin! Now I got nothing against Detective Kim (um...still hate a bit though), the one who actually killed Myungwoo in that incident, because he in the end is the one who killed Changsoo.

And I also want to thank those two despicable guys, they made Kyungjin failed to attempt suicide. Although they at first were only hoping for money, they did succeed to make Kyungjin kept living.

Ah, and the event where Kyungjin tried to attempt suicide for the second time, it was really amazing how she was saved by the balloon. wow.

Who would have thought that the story about crossing pinkie as a symbol of promise and the 49th day would become the main story as it goes on. And in the end... How come she met Cha Tae-hyun(the one who played the male main role on "My Sassy Girl")?

Hell yes, I am dead curious about this movie as the preceding movie of "My Sassy Girl". After searched a bit on the internet, I am getting more and more confused. Some say it is, and some say it is not. Though some similarities are seen, the name doesn't prove it. By the way, I have just noticed that the girl in "My Sassy Girl" which is played by Jun Ji-hyun, does not have a name. I really feel like re-watching My Sassy Girl now.

Anyway, I feel really fortunate I watched the movie. And now... It is time to get back to studying :3

Welcome to tidamation

This is the first time I write a blog, I hope this turn out to be fine.
Tidamation mostly will be all about me, tida, and my arts, which is now mostly about anime wallpaper.

March is going to end soon, and April is coming, which means...I will have less and less time online, since I am going to have exams. School has really caught most of my time now, as I am graduating this year (but before that... packs of exams awaiting for me of course). Next update... I am not sure, but maybe immediately after I finish my exams, maybe 7th April.

Design much or less is the default from Blogger. I'm hoping I can do something more suitable for me and my blog. And about coding... I know nothing. -_-
Anyway, I hope by starting this blog of mine, I can learn something new, maybe about expressing more of myself and maybe about design web and coding.
